favorite things: ‘drow’ look
I got this skin last year at We ❤ Role Play around the same time the outfit and accessories were available from Project Limited. Didn’t take a long time for me to come up with this look as I recall of the hair (from Hair Fair 2014) and the DRD gacha chain items which I already have. I got so excited because I rarely take risks with fantasy skins as they can get pricey having to buy appliers separately to complete the look. Fortunately tho, this skin package already has the appliers that I need and it’s one of the reasons why I got it, aside from the crucial reason that I really love how the skin looks on my shape 🙂
There’s only one problem… the ears that would make this an authentic drow are missing. When I showed this look to my partner for the first time, that’s what he first noticed and my excitement meter went a lil low when I told him I can’t use the pointy mesh ears because it’s impossible to match the skin tone. I don’t think anyone has ever made skin appliers for ears and all we have for skin matching is the HUD, so meh. I tried 2 kinds of these mesh ears but can’t even get close to the hue plus, I won’t be able to use the accessories with the huge pointy ears. But even with that missing part, I still love how I came up with this and it’s one of my all-time favorites ❤
